Several Cars Involved in Crash That Closed Route 83
The early Thursday morning crash closed the roadway between Archer Avenue and 107th Street in both directions.

LEMONT, IL - A multi-vehicle crash continues to slow traffic on Route 83 between Archer Avenue and 107th street near Lemont Thursday morning.
WGN-TV Traffic reported just before 6 a.m. that lanes were closed in both directions near the area. As many as 15 cars may have been involved in the crash, according to a WJOL report.
The incident is one of several reported during the Thursday morning rush hour tied to slick road conditions. WGN shared several images of vehicles stalled on Route 83, at least one of which was towed from the scene.
