Severe Weather Possible, Temps Rise Back To 90s In IL

ILLINOIS — A mostly sunny Monday with temperatures in the mid-80s is expected, before temps once again begin to rise this week. According to the National Weather Service, there will also be periodic chances of storms from Tuesday through Saturday.

There is a potential for severe weather, but the location and timing of severe storms isn't yet known.

Monday has a high of 85 degrees, and Tuesday will be slightly hotter with a high of 88. According to the weather service, there is a chance of storms starting Tuesday night as well as Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday has a high of 89, Thursday a high of 88 and Friday will be the hottest day of the week with a high of 92.
