Site Work Continues At New Water Tower Site Off Derby Road

LEMONT, IL — Work continues on the Public Works Annex site, after the Lemont Village Board approved a contract for storm water detention, sanitary sewer and water main installation, at its Monday meeting.

Public Works Director Ralph Pukula said the work is at the new water tower site on Derby Road.

The project includes site work for the storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main installations, pressure connections, detention basin plantings restoration, landscaping, pavement restoration and erosion control measures, according to Board documents.

Pukula said four bids were received for the project, and the low bid was Winninger Excavating, Inc. for $742,088.40.
