Sixth Annual Scarecrow Trail Planned At Township Community Center
Families, organizations and businesses are invited to create their own scarecrow for the contest. This year's theme is frontline workers.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont Township and the Lemont Junior Woman's Club will hold the sixth annual Scarecrow Trail contest from Oct. 3 through Oct. 21 at the Heritage Woodland Sanctuary and Community Center, 16300 Alba St.
Families, organizations and businesses are invited to create their own scarecrow for the contest, according to the township. This year's theme is frontline workers.
Applications are available online, and payment must be received by Sept. 18. Scarecrows can be dropped off Oct. 2 to the community center at 16300 Alba St.

Voting will take place Oct. 3 through Oct. 21, and the winner will be displayed at the Halloween Hoedown on Oct. 23 and Scarecrow Fest on Oct. 24. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
