Snow, Cold Temperatures Return To Illinois
Snow is forecast on both Sunday and Monday this weekend, although exact accumulation isn't known.

The wintry weather is back after a brief respite. Snow and cold temperatures are forecast for this weekend, according to the National Weather Service. There is an excessive cold risk on Saturday and Sunday and wind chill will bring temperatures down to about -5 degrees.
Snow is in the forecast for Friday evening, Sunday and Monday. According to the NWS, little or no snow accumulation is expected on Friday, but it will be blustery and cold with wind chill around -5. Saturday will see a break in the snow, but temperatures will be around -6 degrees. On Sunday, the snow will return, although exact accumulation isn't yet known. The snow will continue into Monday, before tapering off in the evening.
