A look at the week ahead weather for Chicagoland — will the warmup stick around?

Another week of spring-like temperatures is in store for the Chicago area. According to the National Weather Service, this week will feature temperatures up to 66 degrees and a couple of showers during the week.
Monday will have a high of 66 degrees, but some rain is possible in the afternoon especially south of the city. Tuesday will also be warm, with a high of 65 degrees, and some rain possible in the morning, according to the NWS.
Wednesday and Thursday will be slightly cooler, with highs of 57 and 62 degrees, but both days should be dry and sunny. Friday will be the coolest day of the week, according to the NWS. The high for the day is 54, and there is also a slight chance of rain.

- MONDAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 64. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph.
- MONDAY NIGHT: A 20 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 45. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
- TUESDAY: A 20 percent chance of rain before 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 58. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
- TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.
- WEDNESDAY: Sunny, with a high near 53.
- WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.
- THURSDAY: A slight chance of rain after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 61.
