St. Al, St. Pat School Has Successful Academic Bowl Season

LEMONT, IL —St. Alphonsus/St.Patrick School along with other area schools participated in several academic competitions during the 2018 season. The school said competitions involving the seventh and eighth grade student were held at Providence High School, Benet Academy, Montini Catholic and Nazareth Academy.

The students at St. Al/St. Pat took first place in seven area competitions. In math, the school said they finished first at Nazareth Academy and Montini Catholic. At Benet Academy, they topped the leaderboard in the overall academic competition with first place finishes in history, English, and science. At Providence High School the took first in the overall academic competition.

The school also brought home many individual awards including: first place science, first place math, first place geography, second place math, third place language arts, and fourth place math.
