St. Alphonsus Plans to Add More Parking
St. Alphonsus Catholic Church seeks approval to turn vacant land at State and Logan streets into a church parking lot.

LEMONT, IL - St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Lemont is proposing to construct an additional parking lot at the intersection of State and Logan streets.
Rev. Brian Ardagh will represent the Archdiocese of Chicago at Monday night’s Lemont Village Board meeting in requesting approvals of special use and variations for the parking lot which, if approved, will include 27 extra spaces for parishioners and other users of the buildings at the St. Alphonsus campus. The parking lot will be in the southeast corner of State and Logan in an area that is currently filled with trees and mostly grass.
Village staff and the planning and zoning committee have already recommended approval of the project, according to the meeting’s agenda.
