Residents can use the fair to clean out unwanted clutter on May 9, in Lemont from 9 a.m. to noon, at Bambrick Park.
LEMONT, IL — Illinois Senate Minority Leader John Curran and State Representative Nicole La Ha will host a free community recycling event to help residents clean out unwanted clutter on May 9, in Lemont from 9 a.m. to noon, La Ha's office shared in a news release.
Residents are encouraged to bring more challenging items to recycle, such as old copiers, DVD players, bikes, documents and more, to Bambrick Park at 1330 Smith Road.
“This is a great event to help families with sustainable spring cleaning,” Curran said in a release. “I encourage all local residents to take a look at our acceptable item list and see what they can unburden themselves with at this free community event.”
Attendees are asked to stay in their cars when they arrive and wait for an event team member to come to assist them and take their items, a news release states.
