State Senator Curran Launches Sixth Annual Valentines For Seniors Card Drive
Cards, poems, and other well-wishes can be mailed or dropped off to Curran's District Office through Feb. 6.
LEMONT, IL — Illinois Senate Minority Leader John Curran is launching his sixth Annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive to bring cheer to seniors in the 41st Senate District, a news release from his office states.
Curran is asking students, churches, scouting organizations and other community-minded groups to donate homemade or store-bought cards to his office to be delivered to assisted living centers, nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the community.
“Valentines have the power to make the seniors in our community's day a little brighter and remind them that they are loved,” Curran said in a release. “Please consider participating in our card drive and spread some joy this Valentine's Day across the 41st district.”

Cards, poems, and other well-wishes can be mailed or dropped off to Curran’s District Office through Feb. 6. The office is at 1011 State St., suite 205, in Lemont; drop-off hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
