State Superintendent of Education Visits District 113A

Last Thursday, Lemont-Bromberek School District 113A was visited by State Superintendent of Education, Dr. Tony Smith. The visit was organized by District 113A Superintendent Dr. Courtney Orzel.

“I invited Dr. Smith to visit our district to see the incredible work happening in our classrooms,” Orzel said. “Dr. Smith has been visiting schools across the state, and we are proud of the direction of the school district and wanted to highlight our school community as one of the schools on his tour.”

During his time in the district, Smith visited all three schools, talking to students and staff about student voice projects, course offerings, classroom learning experiences and projects, technology opportunities and district goals and initiatives.
