Storms Possible Throughout The Week, Mild Temps For Illinois

There is a chance of storms and rain every day this week, except for Friday.

The weather will be slightly more active this week, with almost every day featuring a limited lightning threat and a chance of storms. According to the National Weather Service, there will still be many hours of dry time, but rain and storms possible throughout the week.

Temperatures will be mild, with a high of 80 degrees on both Monday and Tuesday, and a high of 83 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday. According to the NWS, Friday will be the only day without a chance of rain and storms.

Storms are possible after 1 p.m. on Monday and Monday night. There is also a 40 percent chance of storms on Tuesday, followed by a 20 percent chance on Wednesday.

Thursday has a 30 percent chance of storms, while Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 83 degrees, according to the NWS.
