Storms Possible This Week In IL, Temps Return To 70s On Thursday
The week will start off rainy, as showers are expected on both Monday and Tuesday.
ILLINOIS — The Chicago area will see some rainier weather to start the week before temps warm again. The week will start cooler on Monday, and the National Weather Service said there is a high of 51 and a chance of rain, mostly north of Interstate 80.
Monday night will get down into the 30s, but the rain should end late Monday. Tuesday will be slightly warmer, with a high of 61, but there is still a chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Things will dry out Wednesday during the day, with an expected high of 66. Storms are possible Wednesday night, mainly north of I-80, the weather service said.

Thursday during the day will be dry again, and it will be the warmest day of the week with a high of 77 degrees. Thursday night again will see a chance of thunderstorms, according to the weather service.
The chance of storms will stick around Friday, which has an expected high of 65 degrees.
