Storms Throughout The Week, Temps Stay In The 80s For IL
With humid weather expected, there is a chance of thunderstorms daily this week.
ILLINOIS — Warmer temperatures and humid weather will continue this week, which also brings daily chances for scattered thunderstorms. The National Weather Service said scattered storms are possible Monday afternoon and evening. Storms are capable of winds up to 40 to 50 mph and heavy rainfall.
There will also be a chance of scattered thunderstorms Tuesday, with storms also possible Wednesday and Thursday before a cold front arrives Friday and temps drop to the 70s, according to the weather service.
Tuesday will be the hottest day of the week with temps up to 87 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday will have highs of 85 and 82 degrees, respectively.

If storms do occur this week, the weather service said storms will be capable of producing gusty winds and heavy downpours.
