Summer Car Show Starts In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Legends Cruise Nights will have its first car show of the summer on Wednesday, June 7 in historic downtown Lemont. The car show will be held most Wednesdays through August from 6 to 9 p.m.

Each week has a different theme, and for the first show, it is "Calling All Cars."

The rest of the schedule is:

• June 14, Street Rods/Antiques
• June 21, Chevy/Corvettes (a local band will also perform)
• June 28, Ford (Pet Night)
• July 12, Jeep (Veteran's Night)
• July 19, Harley/Custom Bikes (a local band will perform)
• July 26, Exotic/High End Cars (Craft Beer and Wine Tasting, Sponsored by Ruffled Feathers)
• Aug. 2, Buick/Olds/Pontiac
• Aug. 9, Mopar
• Aug. 16, Emergency Vehicles (Kid's Night)

There will be no car show on July 5 due to Independence Day. Aug. 23 has also been set aside as a rain date if needed.

According to the Lemont Chamber of Commerce, food is provided by local downtown restaurants and food truck vendors. Sponsoring bars will also offer walk around beer and wine.
