Taste Of Lemont Planned Saturday Downtown Lemont

Check out food from local restaurants, and enjoy live music at the event.

LEMONT, IL - The Lemont High School Educational Foundation will host Food For Thought: Taste of Lemont on Saturday, from 5 to 11 p.m.

The event will be held near the Metra lot in downtown Lemont, according to the event website. The event will feature live music from Split Decision and Mike & Joe, and local food and beverage vendors.

Tickets can be bought online for $15 in advance, or for $20 at the door. Admission is free for LHS students and for those 14 and under.

Food and drink vendors include: Barrel & Vine, Big Ed's Shed, The Creamery, Gelsosomo's Pizzeria, Golden Shrimp, Hughie McClafferty's, Jimbo's Pizza, Lorenzo's Frozen Pudding, MaMa D's, Matt's Barbecue, Pollyanna Brewing Company, Rosati's Pizza and Wooden Paddle.

Proceeds from the event benefit LHSEF, which has awarded more than $500,000 in grants to aid LHS students, faculty and staff since 2007.
