ILLINOIS — Snow will continue into Monday morning, before mild temperatures and dry weather returns for the work week. The National Weather Service said snow is possible Monday morning, but accumulations will be minor.

Temps will be in the 30s Monday, and it will be windy with gusts up to 25 mph. Tuesday will be similar, with a high of 40 degrees, and gusts up to 20 mph, the weather service said.

The trend will continue for the rest of the work week, and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will all be sunny with temps in the 40s and upper 30s.
