Temps In The 50s, No Accumulating Snow: Illinois Weather

ILLINOIS — A mostly dry week with more seasonable temperatures is in store for Illinois. Monday during the day will be dry with a high of 41 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There is a chance of snow late Monday into Tuesday, with snow changing to rain by Tuesday early afternoon.

Tuesday will be even warmer with a high of 48 degrees. After rain ends around noon, it should be sunny and dry, the weather service said. Wednesday will have highs in the 50s, and no precipitation is expected.

Thursday will have a high of 55 degrees, but rain is expected, the weather service said. There could be a rain/snow mix late Thursday night, before things once again clear on Friday. Friday be slightly colder with a high of 38, but it will be mostly sunny.
