Temps In The 50s, Rain At The End Of The Week For IL

It will be dry for most of the week until Thursday when rain could move into the area.

ILLINOIS — Temperatures will stay fairly chilly for the week ahead, but it should be dry for most of the week. The National Weather Service said Monday will be partly sunny and gusty with winds as high as 20 mph. The high for Monday will be 55 degrees.

Tuesday will be slightly chillier with a high of 47 degrees, and it will be mostly cloudy with gusts up to 15 mph.

The weather service said temps will rise above 50 once again on Wednesday, which has a high of 54 degrees. Wednesday will again be partly sunny.

Rain could move into the area Thursday, especially in the afternoon and evening. Both Thursday and Friday will have temps above 50, with a high of 56 on Thursday and 54 on Friday. The weather service said there is also a chance of rain on Friday.
