Temps In The 50s, Rainy Week Ahead: IL Weather

ILLINOIS — Snow is expected Sunday, with 1 to 2 inches expected on grassy and elevated surfaces, the National Weather Service said. Snow will end early Monday morning and it will be mostly cloudy for the rest of the day.

Temperatures on both Monday and Tuesday are expected to be in the 40s, with a high of 46 on Monday and a high of 49 on Tuesday. The weather service said rain is also expected Tuesday afternoon and gusts could be up to 15 mph.

Wednesday will be mild with a high of 58 degrees and rain is likely late Wednesday night. According to the weather service, Thursday and Friday will also both have temperatures in the 50s, with a high of 52 on Thursday and a high of 53 on Friday. There is also a chance of rain both days, and a thunderstorm is possible Friday.
