Temps In The 60s, Chance Of Rain Saturday: IL Weekend Weather
Expect mild weather this weekend, although a cold front is coming in.
ILLINOIS — Seasonable temperatures are expected this weekend, and both Saturday and Sunday will have highs in the 60s. A cold front could also bring isolated to scattered showers Saturday afternoon and evening, the weather service said.
Besides the possible rain Saturday afternoon, sunny skies are expected for the rest of the weekend. Saturday will have highs in the low to mid 60s, and Sunday will have low to mid 60s to the north and uppers 60s to the south, according to the weather service.
The weather for the work week will be more unsettled, and a stronger storm system could move in Sunday night into Monday, the weather service said.
