Temps Heat Up To 90, Dry Weather Expected For IL

Temperatures will be even warmer during the work week, when multiple days above 90 degrees are expected.

ILLINOIS — Temperatures will be near 90 degrees this weekend as a heat wave approaches the area. According to the National Weather Service, it should be dry through Tuesday, although there is a slight chance of rain near the Illinois and Wisconsin border on Sunday.

A high of 89 is expected Saturday, and a high of 90 on Sunday. Temperatures in the 90s are then expected through the work week, the weather service said.

The high for Monday will be 90, and temperatures will be even warmer on Tuesday with a high of 94. Temperatures in the 90s are also expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
