Temps Near 80 By The End Of Week: IL Weather

With the increasing temperatures comes a chance of thunderstorms toward the end of the work week.

ILLINOIS — After a cold weekend, temps are expected to rebound this week. Monday will be the coldest day of the week, with a high of 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There could be some patchy frost, but it will be partly cloudy.

Patchy frost is again possible Tuesday, but temperatures could reach 60 degrees. The rest of the week will get increasingly warmer, with a high of 63 on Wednesday, 74 on Thursday and 78 on Friday, according to the weather service.

With the warmer temperatures comes an increasing chance for thunderstorms. Rain and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the weather service said.
