Theft, No License, Reckless Driving: Lemont Arrests

Lemont Police reports through Jan. 19.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Theft

  • On Jan. 2, Alex Reamer, 25, of Darien, was arrested following an incident in the 500 block of Czacki Street for theft. Reamer was issued a Feb. 13 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
  • At 3:08 p.m. Jan. 11, Amanda Chase, 32, of Joliet, was arrested following an incident in the 300 block of River Street for felony theft over $500. Chase will appear in the Will County Court House.

  • At 2:20 p.m. Jan. 12, Dennis Shifflet, 50, of the 400 block of Ashbury, was arrested following an incident in the 15100 block of Main Street for reckless driving, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Shifflet was issued a Feb. 13 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Driver's License Never Issued

  • At 8:30 p.m. Jan. 13, Rytis Almanas, 24, of the 14900 block of East 127th Street, was arrested following a traffic stop at State and Lincoln streets for driver's license never issued and no rear registration plate light. Almanas was issued a Feb. 15 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident

  • At 10 a.m. Jan. 16, Deanna Adell, 45, of the 300 block of Kromray Road, was arrested following an accident in the 600 block of Talcott Avenue for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to notify damage to unattended vehicle. Adell was issued a Feb. 15 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

No Valid Driver's License

  • On Jan. 18, Jamar Holloway, 33, of the 300 block of Stephen Street, was arrested following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of State Street for no valid driver's license and no headlights, tail lights or sidelights. Holloway was issued a Feb. 15 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
