Three Lemont Scouts Achieve Eagle Rank

LEMONT, IL — Three Lemont Scouts from Troop 49 have achieved the rank of Eagle. An Eagle Court of Honor was held for Matt Otreba, Greg Perini and Ben Pimentel on March 13 at Lemont United Methodist Church.

Pimentel's mom Mary said the three are all seniors at Lemont High School and have been in Scouts together since they joined as Tiger Cubs in first grade. The three have also been to the high adventure camp 'Philmont.'

Pimentel has also attended two National Jamborees and a World Jamboree in Japan. Otreba and Pimentel have also gone to two additional high adventure camps 'Northern Tier' and 'Seabase.'
