Three Undefeated Lemont Hornet Teams Qualify for Super Bowl

The Super Bowl will be held this weekend.

The Lemont Hornets Youth Football and Cheer Association, the premier feeder club to Lemont High School, will send three of their teams to the Super Bowl finals for the Bill George Youth Football league. The games will be held this weekend at Willow brook High School and Benedictine University.

The 83 LB Gold AFC squad will return to defend their title from last year. The squad is 10-0, beating Carol Stream last weekend in the semi-finals 14-0. The 83 LB game will kick off at 10 am this Saturday November 8th at Willow brook High School, in Villa Park.

The 103 LB Gold AFC team is also 10-0 after beating West Chicago in their semi -final last weekend 21-14. They will play at Willow Brook High School at 4 pm this Saturday November 8th.

The JV AFC team is undefeated at 10-0 heading into their game at Benedictine University. They came away with a huge victory in a very exciting double OT game, beating Carol Stream 12-6 last week. The JV Game will be held at 4 pm this Sunday, November 9th at Benedictine University in Lisle.

The Lemont Hornets Youth Football and Cheer Association are proud members of the Bill George Youth Football League, the premier Chicago Land youth football conference.

The Bill George Youth Football League is comprised of 15 towns and 175 football teams. The towns include- Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Hinsdale, Lemont, Lombard, Lyons Township, South Elgin, West Chicago and Wheaton.
