Tickets On Sale Now For Taste Of Lemont

LEMONT, IL —Tickets are already on sale for the popular Food For Thought: Taste of Lemont event which will be held Saturday, Sept. 7 near the Metra lot in downtown Lemont. The family-friendly event, held from 5 to 11 p.m., is sponsored by CITGO and features food and beverages from the Lemont community. There will also be a concert by "Hi Infidelity," as well as a performance from "Split Decision" and other musical guests.

Tickets are on sale now and are $10 if purchased in advance, and $15 at the door. Admission is free for ages 14 and under, and also free for Lemont High School students with a valid student ID. Tickets may be purchased online by visiting www.tasteoflemont.com.

Taste of Lemont is held by the Lemont High School Educational Foundation and is the organization's most important annual fundraiser, LHS said. The format of the event is a typical "Taste of" and each restaurant will have multiple affordable options on its menu.

The event will be held rain or shine. LHS said proceeds from the event benefit the LHSEF, which funds and supports programs and opportunities aid students’ growth, both academically and as citizens of the Lemont community.
