More Tornado Warnings Issued, 100 MPH Winds Possible
New tornado warnings issued for Lake, McHenry and Cook counties.

ILLINOIS — Several storm warnings and watches have been issued for the area as damaging thunderstorms approach. Just after 4 p.m., tornado warnings were issued for Lake and McHenry counties until 4:45 p.m. and Cook County until 4:30 p.m.
A tornado warning was issued for Kane, Kendall, northeastern LaSalle and southeastern DeKalb counties until 3:45 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for DuPage and Will counties until 4 p.m., for Evanston, Skokie and Des Plaines until 4:30 p.m. and for Waukegan, North Chicago and Gurnee until 4:45 p.m. Warnings have also been issued for parts of Kane, Kenell, LaSalle and DeKalb counties.

Bull Valley around 350 PM CDT.
Wonder Lake around 355 PM CDT.
McHenry, Spring Grove, Richmond and McCullom Lake around 400 PM CDT.
Johnsburg and Lakemoor around 405 PM CDT.
Fox Lake, Pistakee Highlands, Volo and Channel Lake around 410 PM CDT.
Round Lake, Long Lake and Lake Catherine around 415 PM CDT. Round Lake Beach, Grayslake, Antioch, Lake Villa, Lindenhurst and Venetian Village around 420 PM CDT.
Gages Lake, Grandwood Park and Third Lake around 425 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Fox Lake Hills, Russell, Greenwood, Old Mill Creek, Ringwood, Round Lake Heights and Hainesville.
This includes... Chain O Lakes State Park, College of Lake County, Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Lake County IL Fairgrounds, Moraine Hills State Park, and Six Flags Great America.
With windspeeds exceeding 80 mph and embedded tornadoes, weather service officials warned mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed and flying debris will be dangerous to anyone caught outside. Residents must seek alternative shelter.

Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for parts of the Chicago area in Lake, Will, Kankakee, DuPage, Cook, Kendall, Grundy, Kane and McHenry counties. According to the weather service, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from Rockford to Mendota, moving east at 75 mph.
Hail the size of quarters are also possible with the storm system. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely, according to the weather service .
A tornado warning has been issued near the Rockford area, west of Chicago. According to the weather service, the main area of concern is from near Rockford and to the east including the Belvidere area.
A severe thunderstorm watch has also been issued until 7 p.m. Monday for most of northern Illinois including Cook, Kankakee, Lake, McHenry, Will, DeKalb, Kendall, DuPage, Grundy and Kane counties.

The weather service advised residents of multiple ways to receive warnings. Threats with these storms include damaging winds, possible tornadoes, and half-dollar sized hail.
