Trade School Special Use Granted In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Lemont Village Board approved a special use for a trade school in Suite 101, 1243 State St.

According to board documents, the applicant for the special use is Chicago Nursing Academy.

The special use was granted with conditions including: students will be encouraged to park in the rear of Suite 101, and if class sizes are greater than 20 students in-person, the Village can reevaluate the special use.

1243 State St. is the plaza where Tap House Grill, Gamestorm and Aldi are located.
