Tru Foods Opening Soon In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Another new business will be opening soon in Lemont. Tru Foods, a "culinary inspired kosher commercial kitchen" will be opening soon at 317 Front St., in downtown Lemont.

According to the business' website, Tru Foods will provide "upscale convenience food" including sandwiches, wraps, salads, parfaits and more.

The village said the concept of the business is to have healthy, Mediterranean-inspired 'grab-n-go' foods, as well as provide space for cooking courses.

Tru Foods is owned by Andrew Dickman, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. According to its website, the business also partners with other local businesses and local farmers.

An exact opening date has not been given.
