Two Cars Stolen Over Past Week In Lemont: Police

Police said since Jan. 1, there have been 5 cars stolen in Lemont, 3 of which were semi-trucks.

LEMONT, IL — Two unlocked cars were recently stolen in Lemont, police said. One of the cars was stolen March 28, and the other between April 6 and April 7, according to police. The cars were stolen from the 0-100 block of Deer Lane and the 1200 block of Acorn.

Police said one of the cars was recovered in Bolingbrook, and the keys were still in the car. The other stolen car has not been found.

According to police, a semi-truck was also stolen, and the tractor part of the truck was found, but the trailer and load were not.
