Uninsured Driver Had Controlled Substance, Obstructed Windshield: Cops

A 74-year-old man was charged with criminal trespass in connection to an incident on Cass Street.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

On Jan. 24 at 10:45 p.m., Thomas V. Pearson, 74, of the 200 block of Cass Street was arrested for two counts of criminal trespass to residence following incidents in the 200 block of Cass Street.

DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

On Jan, 29 at 10:43 p.m., William A. Heron, 25, Marshfield, Wisconsin was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper turn signal following a traffic stop at State Street and Illinois Street.

On Feb. 1 at 3:56 p.m., Thomas E. Olsson, 51, New Lenox was arrested for driving while license suspended, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration following a traffic stop at 127th Street and State Street.

On Feb. 1 at 9:47 p.m., Bridgette M. Burdi, 20, New Lenox was arrested for driving while license suspended and disobeying a stop sign following a traffic stop at Illinois Street and Stephen Street.

On Feb. 2 at 10:12 a.m., Luis A. Marquez-Cortes, 21, of the 400 block of Stephen Street was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked following a traffic stop at Illinois Street and State Street.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

On Feb. 2 at 4:08 p.m., Brittany D. Kelly, 20, Joliet was arrested for no valid driver's license following a traffic stop at Lockport Street and New Avenue.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

On Feb. 1 at 9:25 p.m., Robert J. Chmielewski, 39, of the 1100 block of Glenys Drive was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and obstructed front windshield following a traffic stop at Keepataw Drive and State Street.
