Arts & Entertainment

Use your imagination

Did you know Lemont has a free gallery for the arts? Drop in on the weekends to see a new show every month. There's boutique shopping too.

The Lemont Center for the Arts welcomes you on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.  We’re on State Street south of 127th Street between Aldi and Jeffrey LaMorte salon.

Make a wish, plant a flower . . . the exhibit up now has interactive art and acrylic work created by residents of Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center.

The Lemont Center for the Arts, operated by the Arts and Culture Commission, is responsible for the beautiful murals downtown. The center also brings art lessons to schools where budget cuts have eliminated such programs.
