Vandalism In Lemont Parks Causes Police To Step Up Patrols

Lemont Police will be stepping up patrols after an increase of vandalism in several parks and public sites.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Police will be stepping up patrols after an increase of vandalism in several parks and public sites. Lemont Park District is asking residents to report any suspicious activity to police.

According to a release from the park district, vandalism costs ample dollars to repair and often causes unsuitable as well as unsafe conditions. It is imperative that the community works together to stop such undesirable behavior in Lemont, the park district said in a release.
