Vintage Baseball Tournament Hosted In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Historical Society will once again sponsor the Quarrymen Classic, a vintage baseball tournament, at 10 a.m. June 24 at Mt. Assisi Field.

The tournament will feature the DuPage Plowboys, Grangers of Rochester, Indianapolis Blues, Milwaukee Juneau BBC, Saginaw Old Gods, St. Louis Brown Stockings and Sunset Hill Farm Colonels.

The event will also have bluegrass music, a visit from Abraham Lincoln, a visit from the Lemont Fire Department, and Pilcher Park historical games and Prairie Life exhibit.

Mt. Assisi Field is located at 13860 Main St., in Lemont.
