Violating Order Of Protection, Speeding: Lemont Arrests

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

July 7

• Andrew Janik, 29, of Palos Hills, was arrested at 7:55 a.m. and charged with speeding 26-34 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and Ashford Drive. Janik was issued an Aug. 8 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
• Bianca Barnett-Borys, 26, of Willowbrook, was arrested at 11:25 a.m. and charged with driving while license suspended/revoked, no seatbelt and obstructed driver's view following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and Bell Road. Barnett-Borys was issued an Aug. 8 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

July 9

• Paul Laco, 50, of Lafayette, Alabama, was arrested at 2:53 p.m. and charged with violation of order of protection following an incident in the 15800 block of New Avenue. Laco appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing
