Violating An Order Of Protection, Speeding: Lemont Blotter

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Driving While License Suspended
- At 7:43 a.m. Aug. 27, Richard Callero, 28, of Romeoville, was arrested following a traffic stop at New Avenue and 127th Street for driving while license suspended and speeding. Callero was issued a Sept. 12 court date at the Will County Court House.
- At 11:57 p.m. Aug. 31, Omar Elena-Almaraz, 20, of Matteson, was arrested following a traffic stop at State Street and Arbor Drive for driving while license suspended and operation of uninsured motor vehicle. Elena-Almaraz was issued an Oct. 5 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
Speeding

- At 10:12 p.m. Aug. 28, Anthony Schury, 28, of Orland Park, was arrested following a traffic stop at Lemont and Bluff roads for speeding 26-34 over the limit. Schury was issued an Oct. 10 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
- At 8:09 a.m. Sept. 1, Michael Kedaitis, 33, of the 13400 block of King Road, was arrested following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Smith Road for speeding 26-30 mph over the limit and passing in a no passing zone. Kedaitis was issued an Oct. 20 court date at the Will County Court House.
Violation of Order of Protection
- At 2:26 p.m. Aug. 29, Katarzyna Bienias, 39, of the 16700 block of Brighton Drive, was arrested following an incident in the 12300 block of Briarcliffe Drive for violation of orders of protection. Bienias appeared at the Bridgeview Court House for a bond hearing.
Driving While License Revoked

- At 7:51 p.m. Aug. 30, Ulisses Soto, 33, of Aurora, was arrested following a traffic stop at 127th Street and New Avenue for driving while license revoked, violation of classification no commercial driver's license, no valid safety sticker and use of unsafe tire. Soto was issued a Sept. 15 court date at the Will County Court House.
