Visit Syria next weekend right here in Lemont.
The borders of Syria seem a million miles away but next weekend they will be less than 10 minutes away and well worth the trip.

Come and see the refugee crisis like you’ve never seen it before. Surviving Syria is a 360-degree virtual reality experience for individuals, families and groups who want to bring hope and relief to the most vulnerable in our world.
Pastor Chad De Jager said "We are partnering with World Vision to bring raise awareness about the ongoing refugee crisis through a short 10 minute virtual reality experience. If this moves you I hope you'll visit the exhibit and bring your family, friends, neighbors, youth to be moved from this exhibit. Please consider coming at a time that's convenient for you to the exhibit on the weekend of Jun 18-19."

Refugee Sunday
Refugee Sunday will be a special Sunday gathering dedicated to God’s heart for the refugee. With help from our partners at World Vision Christ Community we will experience snapshots of their reality and a biblical call toward compassion and mission. Whether the situation is new to you or overwhelmingly confusing, we hope that you might join us as we seek to respond with God’s grace.
