Visitation and Funeral Service for Nancy Donley (Hogrefe), 64

LEMONT, IL -- Nancy Marie Donley (Hogrefe), passed away suddenly on Feb. 10, 2017. She was born in Hinsdale, IL on May 7, 1952 to Elaine and Arnold Hogrefe, She had two brothers Roger and Dave.

She attended Hinsdale Central High School, and married Lawrence Donley on Nov. 3, 1973. They resided in Lemont, IL where they raised their two children, Carrie and Adam. She worked for many years at Mary Jane’s Cross ‘N Stitch, and their house was always decorated with her needle work. Nancy especially enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren Lillian and Kellyn Donley, visiting the Morton Arboretum, and volunteering at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Lawrence Donley a brother, Dave Hogrefe, and her two children, Carrie Donley (Patrick Gale) and Adam Donley (Kate Gawlik), two grandchildren Lillian and Kellyn Donley, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elaine and Arnold Hogrefe, and her brother Roger Hogrefe (Mary).

The family will be receiving family and friends for visitation at 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m., at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Nancy Donley to the Morton Arboretum and Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation.
