Volunteers Needed For Haunted Hayride

LEMONT, IL — Volunteers are needed for Lemont's Haunted Hayride which will be held in October along the I&M Canal. There will be a volunteer meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m., at Gelsosomo's.

The event, which will benefit District 113A Foundation and the Hope and Friendship Foundation, needs at least 125 volunteers for each of the four nights of the event.

According to the Hope and Friendship Foundation, groups are needed to adopt a section of the mile loop, or be assigned areas to "haunt." Hay Ride wagon guides, security, ticket sales and people to help set up and clean up are also needed.

The Haunted Hayride will be held Oct. 19, 20, 26 and 27.
