Voter Registration Locations For Lemont

With the April 4 election about a month away, voter registration deadlines are quickly approaching.

The in-person registration deadline for the election is March 7. In order to vote, Lemont residents must be registered. To register:

• You must be a U.S. citizen.
• You must be 17 years old on or before the Primary Election and turn 18 on or before the date of the General Election.
• You must live in your election precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day.
• Not be convicted and in jail.
• Not claim the right to vote anywhere else.

Lemont voters can register at the following locations:

• Lemont Village Hall, 418 Main Street
• Lemont Township, 1115 Warner Ave.
• Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend Street

Early voting, which begins March 20, also takes place at the Lemont Township building.
