Warm Weekend Before Huge Temperature Drop In Illinois

ILLINOIS — Warm, summery weather is expected this weekend before cooler, fall-like temps arrive with the start of the work week. According to the National Weather Service, highs on both Saturday and Sunday are in the 80s, with mostly dry weather expected.

Saturday has a high of 86 degrees, and it will be breezy, with gusts up to 30 mph, the weather service said. Sunday will have a high of 81, and there is a chance of showers Sunday afternoon and Sunday night.

Temps will drop into the 50s on Sunday night, and the high for Monday is only 66 degrees.
