The weather service said the greatest threat of storms will be Sunday night and Monday.
ILLINOIS — A warmer and more humid weekend is in store for the Chicago area, and some storms are also possible. The high for Saturday will be 88 degrees, and Sunday will be even warmer with a high of 91, according to the National Weather Service.
There is also a chance of thunderstorms throughout the weekend. The weather service said the greatest threat of storms will be Sunday night and Monday, with an approaching cold front.
There is also a slight chance of storms Saturday night, as well as a chance of isolated storms Sunday during the day, according to the weather service.
