Win Reserved Seats for the 73rd Lemont Keepataw Day Parade Thanks to Local Collaboration and Community Spirit

Lemont Bank & Trust, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, and Lemont Keepataw Day team up to give away 6 VIP parade seats. Free to enter!

In celebration of the 73rd Annual Lemont Keepataw Day Parade, three community organizations — Lemont Keepataw Day, Lemont Bank & Trust, and St. Matthew Lutheran Church — are teaming up to make this year’s festivities extra special. Together, they are hosting a contest that will grant one lucky winner six reserved seats on the lawn of St. Matthew Lutheran Church to enjoy the parade in style.

The iconic Lemont Keepataw Day Parade, a beloved hometown tradition, is set to step off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025, during Labor Day weekend. Known for its vibrant display of community spirit, marching bands, creative floats, and local pride, the parade draws crowds from across the southwest suburbs each year.

“There’s something magical about watching the Keepataw Parade from the heart of Lemont, and we wanted to give one group a front-row experience,” said a spokesperson for the Lemont Keepataw Day Committee.

The St. Matthew lawn offers prime viewing. It is also where the parade announcer and float judging station are located, making it one of the most exciting spots along the route.

Entering the drawing is free and easy. Just stop by Lemont Bank & Trust at 12400 Archer Avenue in Lemont and fill out an entry form in the bank lobby. The winner will receive six reserved seats on the St. Matthew lawn, offering a perfect view of the parade as it rolls through downtown Lemont.

The winner will be drawn and notified on August 22, 2025. Don’t miss your chance to be part of one of Lemont’s most cherished traditions and to enjoy it from some of the best seats in town.

Directly following the parade, attendees are invited to head over to the Keepataw Day Fun Fest in the Metra lot. The family-friendly celebration will feature live bands, food vendors, a beer tent, an artisan market, a kids’ corner, and more. It’s the perfect way to keep the community spirit going all afternoon long.
