Woodridge Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Lemont: Cops

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.

LEMONT, IL — A 47-year-old Woodridge man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Lemont Monday night, police said. The man, who police did not identify by name, was killed in an accident at 10:18 p.m. Monday in the 11600 block of Lemont Road.

According to police, the driver hit the concrete median on the east side of the bridge and was thrown from the motorcycle. A witness driving southbound on Lemont Road saw the motorcycle without a driver and called police.

Police said the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The road was also closed for five hours as police concluded investigations at the scene.
