$10M Bail For Man Accused Of Killing Cousin
Quentin Harvell was arrested Wednesday after authorities found his cousin's body in a wheelbarrow at the Wadsworth home they shared.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A Lake County man faces murder charges for allegations he killed his cousin.
Authorities found the cousin, Monica T. Green, 47, dead in a wheelbarrow near the tree line toward the rear of her property in the 13100 block of West Shenandoah Trail in Wadswroth on Wednesday evening, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's office deputies were called to the residence at about 6:20 p.m. for a well-being check. The caller was supposed to pick up Green for an appointment but told authorities she was not answering her phone and did not come to the door after ringing the doorbell.

The caller was told by Green's cousin, Quentin V. Harvell, 27, who also lived at the home, that Green was not home.
"The caller found that odd, as Green had no method of transportation," authorities said in a news release. Deputies responded, spoke to the caller and with Harvell, who they noticed had dry blood on his arms, police said.

They did a protective sweep of the home, where they found more blood, and also located a shovel near a rear door. Authorities searched the property and found Green dead in a wheelbarrow near the tree line of the property.
She had several sharp-force injuries and cuts on her body, according to authorities.
Detective obtained a search warrant for the home and found several items, including a knife that had what appeared to have fresh blood on it.
Harvell is being held on a $10 million bail at the Lake County jail and faces two counts of first-degree murder in connection with his cousin's death, according to online jail records.
He is next expected in court on Thursday.
