29th Annual Doorways to Christmas Housewalk & Boutique
Start of the holiday season with a community favorite event!
The Guild of St. Joseph Catholic Church is happy to celebrate 29 years of hosting the Christmas to Doorways Housewalk and Christmas Boutique, a festive Libertyville holiday tradition benefiting local women and children charities.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2nd and includes the Christmas Housewalk, which consists of four homes located throughout Libertyville beautifully decorated for the holidays. This year we have a very special addition to the Housewalk. We are honored and pleased to preview the grand opening of the Foulds Gallery’s “Marquetry” – the amazing masterpieces of the late artist Ed Lantzer. A must see! Homes are open from 10:00am-8:00pm. Tickets are $25.00 and are sold at the St. Joseph Catholic Church office (121 E. Maple Ave, Libertyville) and How Impressive! (326 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville). Tickets can also be purchased at the homes on the day of the Housewalk.
Along with the house tour, holiday shoppers can stop by the annual Christmas Boutique, where they can find homemade holiday gifts for that special someone. The Boutique is held from 9:30am-3:30pm at the St. Joseph Church Koenig Center and admission is free.

The Housewalk has been a long standing tradition in the Libertyville area, with close to 700 people participating in the event each year. Although the day is geared for getting into the holiday spirit, spending a fun afternoon or evening with friends and enjoying the decorated homes, 100% of the profits from the day go back into our community to help support women and children in need. Local organizations appreciate and rely on our donations each year, and every year we are able to give back more. Some of our donations include support to Sister House, Aid for Women, Youth and Family Counseling, Mary and Joseph House, Marsitella and the Waukegan Soup Kitchen. The Housewalk event raises over $15,000 yearly.
