A Bridge out of Poverty

The
evening will be filled with simple elegance and enjoyment as a delicious dinner
will be served with live music performance by the Chicago Modern Orchestra
Project and a silent auction filled with quality items and unique finds is
held. Our Keynote speaker Barry Bradford is a renowned speaker and has won
awards from the President, Congress, and major Civil Rights groups. He is a
former National Teacher of the Year, Illinois State Teacher of the Year and a
winner of the prestigious Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching. All
proceeds from ticket sales and auction purchases will go towards funding Lake
County work force skill programs provided by Employee Connections. Ticket

Connections is a not for profit organization with the community at the center
of its heart. Established in April of 2008, we train and develop candidates for
gainful employment through a series of human resource skill training programs
for low income and disadvantaged youth and adults.
