Advocate Condell Cancer Center Celebrates National Cancer Survivors' Day (#CCSDay) June 7
Celebrate National Cancer Survivors' Day with Advocate Condell on Sunday, June 7, at Advocate Condell Centre Club in Libertyville.

Libertyville, Ill. – Advocate Condell Medical Center Cancer Center invites all to join in a celebration of National Cancer Survivors’ Day on Sunday, June 7, at Advocate Condell Centre Club in Libertyville.
Cancer survivors will be celebrated at the Libertyville Centre Club with raffles, giveaway treats, and a special survivors lap at 9 a.m. on the indoor track. Advocate Condell also will have an information table from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. staffed by Oncology Nurse Navigators from Advocate Condell Cancer Center as well as a representative from the American Cancer Society available to provide resources and answer any questions.
No pre-registration is required for this free event. Also, all cancer survivors will have free entrance to use the workout facilities at the Libertyville and Gurnee Centre Clubs on that day. The Libertyville Centre Club is at 200 W. Golf Rd. in Libertyville and is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. The Gurnee Centre Club, at 1405 Hunt Club Rd. in Gurnee, is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. The Centre Clubs are open daily. The Advocate Condell Cancer Resource Center is conveniently located off the hospital main lobby. This center provides holistic patient wellness and support to patients and their families. It offers a variety of supportive services including exercise classes and financial, genetic, spiritual, nutritional and psychosocial counseling. There is an on-site wig boutique as well as lymphedema assessment/treatment and prosthetic fittings. In addition to providing the supportive services, the Cancer Resource Center waiting area also has chess, a television, and educational information about cancer for those who need to find respite during the day.
