Amateur Radio: Getting Your First License and On the Air!

For all ages, to learn skills and techniques of radio for communication with other “hams,” self-directed learning and personal enjoyment. Learn basic theory, regulations, equipment operation, competitive contests and public service activities. Take the FCC Technician license exam for an additional $15 paid to the instructor. $25 textbook and chart fee is included in the tuition. Gold Card Fee: $92.50. Tuition: $119. Class meets on Thursday from 6:00–8:30 PM on January 28‒March 31 at Vernon Hills High School. Registration is required.
